After years of working in the corporate world, I woke up one day and decided to make a change. I’d always dreamt of running my own business and being my own boss but felt that I needed the security of being an employee rather than an employer.
Having worked in a number of different roles, rising through the ranks from Receptionist, to being a Senior Executive Assistant, managing my own local team of administrators while mentoring a group of global team admins, helping them to not only reach the company goals, but to excel in their management skills. I yearned for something more. The experience I’d gained from working in large corporate businesses meant that I was confident working on a wide variety of projects, streamlining systems and processes, managing events and discovering day-to-day business solutions.
The companies I’ve worked for (including Lehman and Citi Group) demanded the highest efficiency and organisational skills and I knew that the passion that I had working for them could be something that I could use to build a virtual EA business for myself.
